Order Confirmation

After placing your order, an order confirmation will be emailed to you once the item’s availability has been confirmed. All order confirmations will be processed during Mendocino Clothing Company Ltd.’s (Mendocino) office hours (Monday to Friday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. EST). Any emails/orders received outside of these hours will be answered by 11 a.m. the next business day.

Mendocino processes orders Monday through Friday, excluding Canadian statutory holidays. Orders received on weekdays after 5:00 p.m. EST, on weekends or Canadian statutory holidays will be processed on the next business day.

We do our best to fulfill every order we receive. In the event that the item is out of stock, our team will contact you directly by email. We will remove said item from your order and you will not be charged for that item.

**PRE ORDER DETAILS**

Payment 1: purchase date – 25% of item (inc. tax)

Payment 2: 30 days after 1st payment another 25% of the cost

Payment 3: 30 days after 2nd payment, another 25% of cost

FINAL PAYMENT: due on arrival of item, remaining 25% of cost of item PLUS shipping. Item will be shipped out when final payment is made.

PLEASE NOTE: If by day 35 the second instalment has not been made, your 25%  instalment will be forfeited. If you decide you no longer want the item by day 35, we will give  a refund of the 25%.

Timing of Delivery

Once your order has been confirmed, please allow 2 business days to process your order and up to 7 days for delivery via FedEx. If you would like to expedite your package, please email niki@mendocino.ca for rates and details.

At Mendocino we value our customers tremendously. We are committed to doing our very best to make sure your order arrives in perfect condition and on time, however Mendocino cannot be held responsible for unforeseen circumstances beyond our control such as severe weather, service interruptions etc. that may result in a delay of arrival for your order.

Order Tracking

All orders will have an email confirmation with a FedEx tracking number.

Shipping Rates

At this time Mendocino ships within Canada only. If you would like to expedite your package, please email niki@mendocino.ca for rates.

Returns

So you opened your package and it isn’t what you were hoping for. That’s ok. We understand. You can send it back to us (scroll down for how to return to Mendocino in 5 easy steps).

·         Within 15 days of receiving your shipment you can make a return for a full refund.

·         After 15 days of receiving your shipment we are unable to accept a return.

For all returns/exchanges, the item(s) must be in original condition; the item(s) must not be worn, altered or washed, with no signs of dirt, staining and free from any wear, and must have all original tags attached in their original condition. And you’ll have to present a valid receipt.

Final Sale Items

The following item categories are not eligible for refunds or exchanges under any circumstances and are considered Final Sale; Cosmetics, Gift Cards, Hair Accessories, Hats, Jewelry, Sale/Clearance Items, Bathing Suits, Lingerie and Body Suits.

How to return your package:

1.       Email niki@mendocino.ca for a Return Authorization number (make sure to provide details about which item(s) you would like to return and why).

2.       Once the return has been authorized a pre-paid return label will be sent to you by email.

3.       Place the merchandise to be returned in the original packaging with original receipt and securely seal it and write the Return Authorization number on the outside of the package.

4.       Be sure it is post marked and sent off within the 15 day period, please and thank you.

5.       Drop off your package at your local FedEx location, or call them to schedule a pickup (1-800-GO-FEDEX).

Unfortunately items purchased online cannot be returned in store at this time. Please email niki@mendocino.ca to request a Return Authorization number.

Once authorized for a return, you will be sent a pre-paid return label and $7 (plus applicable taxes) will be deducted from your refund.

If there is a courier provider you would prefer to use that is not FedEx, please note it must be coordinated at your own expense. We suggest insuring your package and purchasing tracking services for your protection as we cannot accept liability, as only merchandise received by Mendocino can be credited.

Please Note:

·         Once the return has been received, inspected and approved for return by Mendocino, you will receive a return confirmation email.

·         Your refund will be credited to your credit card with applicable shipping and return fees deducted within 7-10 business days of the receipt of the item by Mendocino.

·         All returned items that were purchased using a Gift Card will be refunded to merchandise credit on a Merchandise Card.

·         All returns must be authorized in writing in the form of an email by Mendocino prior to return.

·         Any return that does not follow all of the above guidelines will be refused at the sole discretion of Mendocino.
